I met Marisa several years ago through her sister, Laura. Marisa spent her time working in a New York City ER as a nurse practitioner, and living a super chic, NYC lifestyle. About a year or so before the pandemic began, Laura told me that Marisa had met someone, who lived in NJ, and was falling hard for him. Adam stole Marisa’s heart, and she eventually decided she wanted to move closer to him. So she left the city and moved back to Hunterdon County. After dating Adam for awhile, she moved in with him. Together, they enjoyed hanging with their adorable pups and tending their chickens. Marisa and Adam told me, during their shoot, that someday they would love to own goats and horses. They are both such animal lovers, and the farm life truly suits them both so well! That’s why we were so excited to be able to do our photos at Durham Hill Farm in Pipersville, PA .
Durham Hill Farms is one of my favorite venues and simply stunning. During weddings, horses grazing in a beautiful pasture provide a backdrop to the ceremony as vows are exchanged. The rustic barn houses a gorgeous reception, complete with handmade tables, string lights, and a massive window that overlooks the whole property. It truly is the perfect venue for any wedding, and luckily we were allowed to use this beautiful property for Marisa and Adam’s photo session. One of our favorite spots was this silo that stands next to the reception area.
Marisa and Adam exemplify the perfect couple. They are so in love with each other that you can see it all over their faces when they are together. I loved being able to capture them being themselves. The little smile Marisa would flash at Adam. The warm embrace Adam would wrap around Marisa. All of it was real, not staged for the camera. Which not only makes my job easy, but more enjoyable. The excitement and love radiating from them both is contagious. It would warm anyone’s heart. Marisa and Adam have something special that every person desires, they have found their soulmate in each other.
Marisa and Adam are getting married on October 30th of this year in Bedminster, NJ, and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of their day. They have so many special details planned which makes their day even more personal. They have even found a way to include their dogs in their wedding procession, which is always one of my favorite moments! These two are the definition of a Wildflower Wedding Collective couple, and we are honored to capture their day later this year!
